Tony Awards Party
To Benefit Le Petit TheatreOn Sun., June 7, from 6-11pm, Tara's Ultimate Cafe, 3636 St. Charles Ave., will host the 3rd Annual Tony Awards Party benefitting Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre.
The guest selecting the most winners from the Tony nominees prior to the television broadcast will win two round-trip air tickets, destination to be announced. Raffle prizes include dinners for two, weekends for two, Downtown Fitness Center membership and more.
Ms. Monika Cosson will entertain with Tony-nominated songs and other Broadway selections. Food and beverages are courtesy of Tara's Ultimate Cafe, Standard Coffee Co., Conco Foods Services, Coca Cola, Budweiser, Bologna Bros., Heritage House Wines and other local businesses.

Krewe Of Petronius
Sponsors World PremiereContinuing its support of campy, Gay friendly theatre, the Krewe of Petronius will sponsor the very first public performance of a brand new musical comedy penned by Ricky Graham and David Cuthbert with music by Harry Mayronne, Jr.
At The Club Toot Sweet On Bourbon Street stars Becky Allen as Busty Rusty Russell, the Saucy Sophisticate of Song with Michael Bennett as the club's emcee, Buddy Ray, and a cast of local luminaries recreating the naughty, bawdy world of 50s Bourbon St., from the barker to the heckler.
Playing at the Southern Repertory Theatre, the Krewe's night will be Fri., June 19, 8pm. The regular run will commence Sat., June 27 thru July 26.
All tickets for the June 19 performance, which will benefit the Krewe, are $20. with a limited number of on-stage table seats @.25.

AIDSLaw Winners
The 1997 Pro Bono Publico and Teri Estrada Memorial Awards will be presented on Thurs., June 11, 7 - 9:30pm at the Arthur Roger Gallery, 432 Julia St. Admission is $25 per person with all proceeds benefitting client services of AIDSLaw.
The Pro Bono Publico award winners are Jean A. Hill of Lafayette, R. Gayle Harrell Jackson of Baton Rouge, Jeffrey T. Reeder of New Orleans and Harry S. Tervalon, Jr. of New Orleans. This award was created in 1995 as the highest honor for recognizing service to AIDSLaw and PLWA in Louisiana.
The Teri Estrada Memorial award winner this year is Harlee S. Kutzen of New Orleans. This award is a community service award recognizing individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those affected by HIV and AIDS. Teri Estrada died from AIDS in 1994 after years of service to her clients. As a PLWA, it is believed that she understood what her clients needed and what they were going through.
