Hit DJ Mary Pappas received her own gold record from Rubyfruit Jungle owner Pam Young. Pappas is leaving for Minneapolis, but will return to DJ for special holidays at the Jungle.
Presented during Rubyfruit's 5th Anniversary blowout, the gold record read, "DJ Mary Pappas, Jungle Fever, Rubyfruit Jungle's Greatest Hits, June 1994-June 1999."
The statement below the record further stated "In sincere Appreciation for 5 years of blood, sweat, and tears. Hey DJ, you really pumped this party! Rubyfruit Jungle June 30, 1999."
