Al Dugas & Dwain Hertz Wed
The Lafayette ballroom of the Holiday Inn Westbank was transposed into a set fitting a Millennium Commitment. On Sat., May 29, Al Dugas and Dwain Hertz were joined together in Holy Union to share their lives together as one. Their parents, immediate family members and approximately a hundred and fifty guests were in attendance. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Dexter Brecht of the Metropolitan Community Church of Greater N.O., and was followed by a lavish reception featuring live entertainment. Al and Dwain began their life as a united couple by visiting Seattle, WA and Vancouver, British Columbia. The couple are Westbank residences who met six years ago and have grown to accept, respect and love each other unconditionally. At this time they will continue to reside on the Westbank, and look forward to sharing the new millennium together as one with their families and friends.
