Subject: Legion National Convention in NO 98
I'm sure by now you all know that the American Legion will be holding its National Convention in New Orleans the same weekend as SD. While I'm sure it might be a blast to get in their faces and shake up their nerves, I would like to offer some friendly advice. Please don't. for the most part, these Legionnaires are blue collar, midwestern, uptight, and simple, and very narrow minded. Once they get a few drinks in them, they are prone to pick fights with anyone that doesn't meet their standards. I don't think reading about Legion instigated gay bashings would be very good for either the bashers or the bashees. I'm going to be in town that weekend for both events, (There are more gay Legionnairs than you know) and hope to enjoy both without incident. Most of the Legion group will arrive Saturday and stick to the tourist sections of the Quarter, Canal St, and Riverwalk. Just wanted to let you know. Please write back with any ? or comments. Thanks
--John

Hi! Thanks for such a great site! We look forward to our trip next year back to New Orleans and plan on using your site for bookings. I do have one quesiton, we are planning a cruise out of New Orleans and want to set it up around Southern Decadence....do you have the dates for next year (1999) or is it always the first weekend in September. We're trying to get the most "bang for our buck" ! Thanks,

Subject: ROMANTIC IN OHIO NEEDS HELP FROM BECKY, PLEASE!
Ohio says Hi to Becky. I would like alittle help please. We, my girlfriend and 1, will be visitng your fine city Aug. 14-21 and it just so happens to be our 4.5 year anniversary on the 18th. I'm the true romantic and would love to plan the anniversary of all times. I have searched and searched the internet for just the right place for a fabulous dinner-a fabulous day all together but just can't figure the RIGHT places to go. So I'm calling on you for your expertise. Just one little catch, we are both vegetarians-go figure. We are truly anxious and can't wait to leave. It's going to be great to be able to enjoy ourselves outside and not just the privacy of our own home! So if you could possibly help it would be greatly appreciated. Remember it is a surprise and I would love to give her THE MOST ROMANTIC DAY OF OUR LIVES! Again thanks and I'm glad I found you. I'll fill you in on the outcome and spread the word that your out there. The tour was very helpful. Have a super day and hope to hear from you soon! Thanks bunches from

I just had a chance to go thru the site for the first time and it really shows a lot of good talent putting it together. We have a friend here that is working hard in his free time to try to make a Gay Guide that is impressive and so far, his work is good. However, your work is great. Maybe in time Pensacola will have as good a representation out on the web as N.O. Thanks for a good tour.

Thanks for the tips about New Orleans and the Web sites. I really enjoyed the French Quarter, especially Cafe LaFete and Rawhide. Can't wait to visit again.
