The folks over at MRB raised over $1,500 for New Orleans PrideFest '99 during the club's Gay Nineties Pride Party. Party goers paid $5 at the door for an all-u-could eat buffet. Additional funds were raised through a prize raffle and an auction boasting original artwork, crystal, fountains, clothes and the like. Auctioneer Mickey Gil assisted by Pride Co-chair Sonny Cleveland did a festive job raising top dollars for items that were bid on.

A show followed raising even more funds through the talents of some of New Orleans' top entertainers including Lisa Beaumann, Fernand Jackson, Miss Do, Ms. Fly, Ineeda Roch and Bianca del Rio.

Special thanks to Petronius members and the various businesses who donated auction and food items.

Red Hot VIII raised over $14,000 for Austin's Project Transitions. Col. Bob Collins donates a $200 check to Oilcan Harry's Manager Freeman Hart and Project Transitions Kathy Negrel.
