Southern Decadence Grand Marshal (SDGM) XXXI Rusty LaRoux and entourage kicked off the 31st Southern Decadence Parade celebrating the 32nd Official Southern Decadence blowout in New Orleans leading thousands of revelers throughout the French Quarter on Labor Day Weekend. SDGM XXXI Rusty LaRoux was the featured guest for the annual Official Southern Decadence Drag Show hosted at the Golden Lantern in New Orleans.

 

Royal Cafe's Chelsea Maillet welcomes SDGM XXXI Rusty LaRoux & Joann Guidos for the Extremely Happy Happy Hour hosted in Rusty's honor at Royal Cafe in New Orleans.

 

SDGM XXXI Rusty LaRoux accepts $100 check from Southern Decadence Promoter Rip Naquin-Delain for United Services for AIDS at the Grand Marshal's Show hosted at Body & Soul in New Orleans. The event raised $1,500 for United Services for AIDS, the chosen charity of Southern Decadence 2003.

 

SDGM XXXI Rusty LaRoux leads the 11th Annual Official Southern Decadence Bead Toss following the end of the Southern Decadence Parade at Ambush Headquarters, 828 Bourbon St., in New Orleans. The group tossed thousands of beads along with fans, Rusty LaRoux t-shirts and Pride t-shirts.

 

SDGM XXXI Rusty LaRoux joins Cruise Director Ted Mahaffy at the Corner Pocket as he led the 7th Official Southern Decadence Closing Party: The Survivor's Bar Run through the French Quarter and Marigny areas of New Orleans.

 

 

Tim Lott captured the 2004 Mr. Louisiana Leather title in stiff competition hosted by the Lords of Leather at Cowpokes in New Orleans. Lott will go on to compete in the International Mr. Leather competition in Chicago next Memorial Day Weekend.

 

Veteran star Opal Masters took home the crown as the 3rd Miss Queen Fashions in competition with 9 other beauties at Oz in New Orleans. The pageant is hosted annually by Queen Fashions' own Electra City (Easter Grand Marshal IV) & Tittie Toulouse.

 

Chet's bar baron Chet Robin joins Chicago star Amy Armstrong and partner JR Stansbury celebrating his (Chet) and Amy's birthday blowout Labor Day Weekend at Chet's Pub in New Orleans.

 

The Cavaliers Motorcycle Club hosted its first annual Southern Decadence Hangover Ride on Sept. 1. A group of seven bikers rode out the Chef Menteur Highway to swap stories of the Decadence weekend festivities over lunch in beautiful old Bay St. Louis, MS. A brief rain shower along the way served as respite from the Labor Day sun, and had a cleansing effect after the weekend of Decadence.

 

Kims 940 Night Club was indeed the Home of Women's Decadence as hundreds of women and men poured into the popular Marigny dance club.

 

Napolean and Josephine, reincarnated from the Krewe of Armeinius Ball XXXV in New Orleans, were a big hit in the Chicago Gay Pride Parade. Seven other krewe members formed the entourage for the elaborate float.

 

 

Hundreds of hot men joined in the Leather Decadence Block Party hosted by Jamie Temple and Leather Bar of the Year Phoenix/Eagle in New Orleans.

 

The New Orleans Bear & Bear Trapper Social Club hosted the 4-day Bear Decadence Run: Bears Take It Up The Bayou attended by participants from coast to coast. The Crescent City Outlaws (above) hosted a fab cocktail party during final registration at Cowpokes: Barn Theatre in New Orleans.

 

SDGM XXXI Rusty LaRoux (c) joins the all community volunteer Southern Decadence Security Team at a special thank you bash hosted by the Bourbon Pub/Parade. The team was sponsored by SouthernDecadence.COM who supplied Security t-shirts for each member.
