Subject: General info requested
Greetings from Atlanta,
My Lover and I had on the spur of the moment put together a minvacation in NO over Labor Day weekend. Until I just now stumbled over your website we had no idea that the Southern Decadence events were to occur. We have already made reservations and arranged Friday the 4th off, so we are set for the weekend. My question is will it be possible to avoid all those "50,000" celebrants during our visit. Both Paul and I are still in our twenties so we are not quite fuddy-duddies yet, but if the mass of people is the same as the attendees at the "HOTlanta" events then perhaps we should be forewarned. One can take only so much of those of those overpriviledged muscle-minded twits at one time. I DO hope that the attendees are largely locals, that's who anyone would want to meet in NO anyway. I do apologize for taking up your time and I do not want to come off as annoying or anything. Assuredly Paul and I will make every effort to watch the parade Sunday ( I think we are staying nearby anyway so we probably won't be -able- to miss it;-). Being from Atlanta we are well acquainted with "big girls in sequins" but I am very sure that anything here CANNOT compare. Wishing y'all well

Subject: Good to see you!!
Hi, I just wanted to write to say how wonderful it is to see that you are online!!! I've recently moved back to Lafayette after 8+ years of living in Connecticut, and still haven't had the opportunity to go out and about yet. Just on a whim, I searched for Ambush online and voila!!! It was wonderful to see some familiar faces that don't even have an idea that I've moved back yet. Guess it's time to get my ass out, huh!! I'm just happy to see that you're still around, because I used to read you all the time WAAAY back when (in '82) when I would go out to Bananas and Fantasy and Strokes. (God, NOW I'm dating myself, aren't I??!!??) Thanks again!!
