The Southern Decadence/Labor Day Wknd. issue of Ambush Mag makes history as the largest edition since Ambush was launched in 1982. The 104 page issue is chock full of ads, photos, events, columns, and news on local, regional, national and international levels. The main section is 48 pages with the center Expose' section at 56 pages.

Let The GAA Campaigning Begin

The Gay Appreciation Awards nomination ballots have been tallied. Let the campaigning begin. Look for your favorites on page 46. The top 5 nominees in each category will now be placed on a voting ballot. Public Voting will take place at New Orleans Pride Fest '98, Sept. 26 and 27, Armstrong Park. Look for the Ambush booth. Make your vote count!

The awards gala will be held on National Coming Out Day, Sunday, Oct. 11, 8pm, Body & Soul, 2300 Chartres, New Orleans. The GAA is sponsored by Ambush Mag, AMBUSHonLINE and Bud Light.

In addition to the public vote awards, the Fly Fashion Awards, Cheridon Award, the Marsha Delain Award of Excellence and the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented.
