Toby Lefort took 1st place honors as Top Individual Walker at the 2003 NO/AIDS Walk in New Orleans raising $8,720.



Marsha & Rip Naquin-Delain raised $8,549 for the 2003 NO/AIDS Walk in New Orleans courtesy of Magnolia Cotillion XXIX celebrating the couple's 29th anniversary Aug. 17. This brings Cotillion earnings to $97,361 for the past 13 years benefiting NO/AIDS Walk.


Brian Sands, Ambush Theatre Critic, ranked 3rd place under Top Individual Walkers at the 2003 NO/AIDS Walk in New Orleans raising $2,221.


Tiffany Rose wins Petronius' Miss Hooker Contest in New Orleans at Cowpokes with Princesse Stephaney as 1st Runner-up and Miss Billie as 2nd Runner-up.


Joey & Matthew take top place honors at the Gong Show hosted Mondays by Bianca Del Rio at Oz/New Orleans.

The Austin Babtist Women celebrated their 17th year in show business by performing to a standing-room-only crowd on Sun., Sept. 14, at Rainbow Cattle Company in Austin, TX. Cast members past and present filled the stage, along with special guests: Sambuca Sisters from Houston, Shegotta Mustache and Paul J. Williams from Dallas, Shay Champagne and C.C. Rider from Galveston, and many, many more entertainers. Along with special guest emcee Troy Kimmel, the event raised $1,258 for the David Powell Clinic. The Babtist Women will next be jetting to the Big Easy to headline Pride New Orleans on October 4 and 5.


Austin icons and partners Garry Holley and David Pearson recently celebrated their 13th anniversary together. Garry is the founder of the Austin Babtist Women, and David serves as the Deacon Dave for the troupe. Both are past emperors of the United Court of Austin and continue to serve on the Board of Directors. Both David and Garry work tirelessly to raise money for Austin AIDS and HIV charities in Central Texas, and their efforts have been recognized repeatedly by the community.


Lisa Beaumann and the Corner Pocket Boys of the Tits & Ass Drag & Variety Show helped raise over $300 for New Orleans Pride Fest at the Corner Pocket in New Orleans.


Officer David of the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) brings Little Joe (donated to the NOPD by COPS 8) into Starlight By The Park's New Orleans Pride fund-raiser emceed by Donnie Jay. The event raised $501 which bar owners Javier Sandoval & CW Stambough matched bringing the total to $1,002.


The New Orleans Gay Men's Chorus performed during their annual Hawaiian Luau presented at the Country Club in New Orleans benefiting the chorus and Buzzy's Boys & Girls.


Sire Ursus Contest Winners Vic Vest, New Orleans; Dave Dykeman, New Haven, CT; Ray Bear, New Orleans and contestants with Wally Sherwood, victim of Bear Eye For The Queer Guy at Cowpokes hosted by New Orleans Bear & Bear Trapper Social Club over Southern Decadence Weekend in New Orleans.


Connie Marcelle, TT Thompson & Marcy Marcell kick off the Footloose Reunion Revue benefiting New Orleans Pride Fest raising $542 at Chet's in New Orleans.



Le Roundup's George Simons & partner Roger Williams flank Double Play's Doc for Doc's Pink Party benefiting New Orleans Pride Fest. It was an evening of raffles, a mega buffet and loads of celebs at the Double Play in New Orleans. The event raised $654 plus a donation by bar owners Chuck Turner and Bill Miller of $500 bringing the evening's total to $1,154.
