Stormie M. Graham, A One-Human-Show

Billed as a One-Human-Show, entertainer/musician Stormie M. Graham is the new Jimi Hendrix of music. Born in Ft. Worth, TX, hailing from San Francisco, and now residing in Austin for the last 6 months (the better to pursue her music career in the "live music capital of the world"), Stormie makes her Austin debut with her unique show, "Hello...." (transition) a 75 minute theatre piece, being presented by Vortex Repertory Company & SMG Management, which plays the Planet Theatre, 2307 Manor Rd., on Fri. & Sat, Sept. 25-26, and then again on Oct. 2 & 3 at 10pm. Seating is limited but tickets are still available by calling 512.454.TIXS (8497).

Stormie's show is not the typical concert one might expect. As part of her charm and talent, "Stormie combines her electric guitar stylings with dialogue and narration for a truly original evening of entertainment, music, and revelation." With music described as Jazzy-Bluesey-Rock-n-Roll, with a Classical-Latin twist, Stormie M. Graham has been hailed as "pretty-voiced, injecting Hendrix-like leads into her acoustic musings" by the New York Daily News. Girlfriend's magazine sums it up with, "Graham has got a wailing message women (and men) can't miss."

Stormie has been involved in the music business for the last 15 years as an electric guitar solo artist. In addition to guitar, she plays the piano, saxophone, drums, and the trumpet. Her latest CD, also titled "Hello..."(transition), has recently been released to critical and popular acclaim.
