Greetings... I would first like to say that I enjoyed your web sight very much! We are the creators of a new cartoon strip entitled "Out There", for samples of our work, please go to http://www.gayplace.com/. We would love to be a part of your site. We are currently being published in the above on-line magazine, ScottsGay Magazine, and the Baltimore Gay Paper. We also have a new venture which we are undertaking, we are currently in the very beginning stages of planning a book featuring our cartoons which we will be offering to the different GLB and Aids groups for fundraising, along with a line of GLB greeting cards, and other misc. merchandise. This is a very TASTEFUL line of merchandise I feel I must add. We are still in the planning stages of this, and are currently seeing what the interest would be. If this is something your group, or a group you know of would be interested in, PLEASE let us know. We are NOT in this to make money, rather to enhance our community, and do our part in volunteering to worthy causes. The beginning split for the fundraising would probably be 50/50, do to the high start up costs, but after that, it would be a higher percentage for the group. We look forward to hearing from you!

Becky, You adoreable little thing! I love your tour, and actually met a lot of the people you highlight. New Orleans is indeed a very welcoming community for any T-Girl, or any blah boy for that matter.
I did notice however that there was no mention of the female impersonator "club" on the "other (READ: bad) end of the street." Being a TG woman, and a very big admirer of those that do it better than me, I truly adored this place. Unfortunately, I kept getting asked for table dances, etc.
Regardless, I would like to know the name of the place. It escapes me; however, as you state in the first page of your tour, New Orleans IS the place where everyone does what they would never dare do in their own home town, and gosh darn it, girl, that's what I did.
I loved it there (N.O.), can't wait to get back for Jazz Fest '98. Maybe I can look you up? Who knows, there must be, some bar down there looking for a sub-par FI such as myself. Hell, I will make all the other girls look even more like superstars!
Anyway, if you get the time, I would love to know the name of the "FI" XXX club on the other end of the street. Take care, darling, Hugs,

Congratulations on your 16th year of publication. And a BIG thank you for keeping me and the gay community informed of the events happening in the Big Easy. I hope to travel back again for Mardi Gras if I can again find a reasonable wheelchair room to rent while the event once again happens. I submitted the info requested by Tande Reservations, but I fear I may be too late. Would you ask any of your readers if they have a wheelchair accessable room they would like to rent to please contact me. It has been too many years since I attended Mardi Gras and would really like to be there under the Ambush balcony to take part in the festivities. I am glad Marsha is back in circulation again. She looks very well in the pictures in Ambush Mag. Again; congratulations on the success of Ambush and all the progress you have helped create for all of us gay folk.

We've taken your advise and changed the background to white and the letters to black at our www.gayamerica.com site (but not at ambushmag.com) It can now be printed out to use as a flyer. Thanks for the info. Cordially,
