Nola, Mickey Nolan, Scott & Doug celebrated the Grand Opening of Mickey Nolan's Salon, 815 Toulouse St., in New Orleans. The reception, complete with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, showcased the salon's new manicure, pedicure and massage wing.

The outgoing Board of Directors of COP 8 in New Orleans were recognized at the organization's annual membership meeting for their outstanding contributions to the organization including Mari Kornhauser, president David Self, DB Carnes, legal advisor Michael Elias, Lynnda Gerson, secretary BB St. Roman, vice president Thom Elliot and treasurer David Favret who was not present.

From the creators of Balagan comes TAGANAI, the latest artistic creation combining colorful acts of the Russian circus with sophisticated conceptual comedy. The production show, which combines amazing athleticism, choreography, humor and an original score will make the Beau Rivage Theatre in Biloxi, MS, home through May 30, 2004.

Queen & King Mwindo VI, Katie Rivers (Cinderella) & Larry Jones (Prince Charming) reigned over Verses, Rhymes and Fairy Tales, the Krewe of Mwindo's 6th annual bal masque at the St. Bernard Civic Auditorium in Chalmette/New Orleans.

 

 

Congratulations to Kenneth & Shannon Orgeron. They were married on Sat., Jan. 24 at Southern Oaks Plantation in New Orleans. Kenneth is Phyllis Denmark's oldest nephew.
