Revelers Flock To The "City That Care Forgot"

Revelers from around the World are filling the "City That Care Forgot!" That's right, New Orleans is projected to have one of the largest glbt presence in the history of Mardi Gras. For months now, GLBT accommodations have been completely booked for this holiday weekend.

Ambush Mag 2000 is proud to have Carnival revelers experience the largest issue to date, of this 16 year old publication. The 92 page edition consists of the main section with 56 pages and the center EXpose section of 36 pages.

Ambush Mag remains the #1 glbt publication boasting some 10-25 additional pages in advertising in every edition, bypassing any competition serving this market area. In this issue, Carnival revelers will find the complete glbt guide to special events on page 53, in the back of this main section. As revelers flip through these 92 pages, they will find almost 65 pages in ads guiding them to the best of the best in the Gulf South. Whether it's bars, restaurants, delis, shops, circuit parties, costume contests, services, real estate or escorts, Ambush has it all. This issue also has 10 photo pages with an additional 17 pages devoted to regular columns, entertainment and news items.

Gulf South Entertainment/News Guide since 1982, Ambush commitment to the community is unparalleled, donating over $197,000 through its AMgrant program in 1997. Visit www.ambushmag.com, where every issue of the publication goes online.

David Krumweide Designs '98 Balcony

Local New Orleans designer, David Krumweide, created this year's Ambush Carnival display. Every year, the balcony at Ambush Headquarters is transformed into Float #69 depicting the chosen theme of the Krewe of Queenateenas.

This year's elaborate balcony display reflects the chosen theme "Queenateenas in Hell!" King Cake Queen V Liz Simms reigns as "The She-Devil" Mardi Gras Day, Feb. 24th.

Queen Liz will lead the Queenateenas 10th Annual Bead Toss from the French Quarter's most famous Bourbon Street Balcony, at 1pm.
