Richard Clement of Richard Clement Jewelry in Baton Rouge reigned as King Tucumcari LVI-King Louis XIV for the Krewe of Tucumcari's 2003 Bal de Masque hosted at the Centroplex Exhibition Hall in Baton Rouge.


Rosario D'Amico & Rick Mirabelli were crowned Josephine & Napoleon, reigning as Queen & King Armeinius XXXV celebrating Remembrances of Things Past, 35 Years of Hell! for the Krewe of Armeinius at the St. Bernard Cultural Center in New Orleans.


This fabulous entry won the prestigious Best of Show category during the 39th Annual Bourbon Street Awards hosted and sponsored by Oz and Bud Light at 800 Bourbon St. at St. Ann in New Orleans. Celebrity emcees included Oz circuit great Bianca Del Rio and Oz Calendar Boy hostess Blanche Debris.


Phoenix's own Martini Master Red Velour joins celeb Kim Ficaro celebrating 14 days of wild fun during Kims 940's giant Mardi Gras Blowout in New Orleans. The festivities included comedienne extraordinaire Kristen Becker, hit DJs Z & Cheryl plus the talents of Unisex Illusions Drag Kings.



Jerry Scavo & Kenny Walker entertained guests for their annual Mardi Gras Mambo Before the (Armeinius) Ball bash at their fab New Orleans digs. Guests were treated to wine, cheese and King Cake while they experienced the loads of hooey collections these two have accumulated from around the world.


The winners of the Mr. Big Easy Bear Contest, sponsored by the New Orleans Bear & Bear Trapper Social Club were announced at the Phoenix Mardi Gras weekend in New Orleans.


Ambush celebs Andy & Phyllis Denmark, and Rip & Marsha Naquin-Delain popped in for le Vendredi de Nuit Mardi Gras Avant [The Friday Night Before Mardi Gras] hosted at the Carrollton in New Orleans. The event benefited Belle Reve and United Services for AIDS.


Returning Queen Ineeda Shave crowned Josie Mae Cotton as Queen of the Hookers Ball on Lundi Gras in New Orleans, raising over $2,200 for Buzzy's Boys & Girls at Body & Soul with Eva Las Vegas and Princesse Stephaney as 1st and 2nd runner-ups.


Krewe of Olympus/Houston Capt. Denise Martin, Queen XXXIII Andy Griffin, Golden Lantern host & Queen V Lou Bernard, & Pres. & King XXXIII Ann Couch join the annual Lundi Gras Reception showing the Krewe's ball video at the Golden Lantern in New Orleans.


The Lords of Leather Bal Masque XX: A Different Drummer presented Tommy Darensbourg of Baton Rouge as Lord King XX and Elmer Godeny as Lord Consort XX at the St. Bernard Cultural Center in New Orleans. The Krewe celebrated 20 years of leather, love and laughter.


The Krewe of Queenateenas presented the 16th Official Gay Mardi Gras Bead Toss on Fat Tuesday, March 4th, 1pm, led by King Cake Queen X, Teryl-Lynn Foxx reigning as The Voodoo Queen over the 2003 Vamps, Virgins & Voodoo balcony at Ambush Headquarters.. The annual event is sponsored by Ambush Mag, the Official Gay Mardi Gras Guide and the Krewe tosses some 10,000 strands of beads each year.
