Co-Easter Grand Marshal VI James Swire is joined by friend Aika Mongi as he led the 6th annual Official Gay Easter Parade (GEP), boasting 15-20,000 spectators, through the streets of the French Quarter on Easter Sunday in New Orleans.


Lisa Beaumann is joined by partner Marcus Martinez as she led the 6th annual Official Gay Easter Parade, which had over 225 participants, as Co-Easter Grand Marshal VI, through the streets of the French Quarter. Gay Easter Parade board members and Easter Grand Marshals I and IV, respectively, Marsha Naquin-Delain and Electra City, celebrated at the Official Pre-GEP Party and lavish buffet hosted by CW Stambaugh and Javier Sandoval at their N. Rampart St. Club, Starlight By The Park, in New Orleans. And a special thanks to Steve Patrick, Gay Easter Parade Day Coordinator. His help was invaluable.

The Pot Heads are joined by Coffee, Friends and’s... Carl Meyer and Bunny Hop coordinator, Tinky-Winky (Lewis Routh), as they accept the "Best of the Best" bonnet award for the 3rd Annual Marigny Bunny Hop presented by Meyer at Cowpokes in New Orleans.



The Krewe of Amon Ra presented PFLAG New Orleans with a $1,000 scholarship raised during the krewe’s 44th bal masque at 4 Seasons in Metairie, Louisiana. Photo: Amon Ra Pres. Diva wrestlers Phyllis Denmark, Varla Jean Merman and Savanna DeLorean are joined by emcee Bianca Del Rio for the 2nd annual Celebrity Lube Wrestling benefit hosted by Cowpokes in New Orleans which raised $1,872 for Belle Reve.



The staff of Bywater Bar.B.Que/Lorenzo’s is to be congratulated for raising over $4,500 for the 4th annual Buzzy’s Easter Brunch hosted by the popular Bywater eatery benefiting Buzzy’s Boys & Girls in New Orleans on Easter Sunday. Newly crowned Crack Whores VI Marsha & Rip Naquin-Delain are joined by many who attended the 6th annual Crack Whore Ball hosted by the Ninth Circle gang at Starlight By The Park in New Orleans. The ball is held following carnival season for those in the service industry and their guests with an open bar and dance music raising over $300 for the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, New Orleans Affiliate. Service industry personnel usually work for carnival and do not have time to join in the fun.
