Just in time for New Orleans Pride, Condor, Germany’s most popular leisure airline announces that its first flight of the summer season will arrive at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport from Frankfurt on June 6 at 7:35p. The Boeing 767-300 will be piloted by an all-female cockpit crew and serviced by an all-male, gay cabin crew. The crew will march in the New Orleans Pride Parade on June 8th. Condor provides twice- weekly service from New Orleans to its Frankfurt hub with connecting service to more than 250 destinations throughout Europe and beyond. With an extensive air and rail partner network, Condor makes traveling from New Orleans to Pride events across Germany and Europe easy this summer. Fares from New Orleans to Frankfurt start as low as $299.99.*

“As an international airline, we’re building bridges between people, cultures and traditions around the globe. It is therefore Condor’s pleasure to show our commitment to celebrate each individual’s heritage, gender, sexual orientation and personal identity by participating in the New Orleans Pride Parade this year – not only onsite, but also with a special Pride Crew on Condor’s first nonstop flight from Frankfurt this season,” said Christoph Debus, Chief Airline Officer of the Thomas Cook Group Airline, Condor’s parent company.

“Condor is returning to MSY for a third season with nonstop service to Germany and beyond, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. This flight brings more and more international visitors to experience the unique spirit and vibrancy of New Orleans. We are grateful for Condor’s commitment to this community and hope to see the relationship continue to grow,” said Kevin Dolliole, Director of Aviation for Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.

“We are excited to welcome Condor Airlines’ participation in the New Orleans Pride Parade. Not only does Pride Weekend coincide with their first summer arrival, but they are the first airline to participate in our parade in the last ten years. We know that the flight crew will enjoy the New Orleans hospitality and the energetic crowds on the parade route through the French Quarter,” said Darryl Martin, New Orleans Pride Parade Captain.
