CrescentCare, a community leader in the infectious disease arena, is beginning a podcast today to give good factual updates and information on coronavirus and to quell the misinformation that is spreading throughout the community.
Starting today (March 17), at 1:30 pm CDT, Dr. Nicholas Van Sickels, our Chief Medical Officer, will update the community on this serious public health threat and give factual information to calm fears about the virus.
“While this a serious health threat, there is no need to panic,” said Dr. Van Sickels. “Together, with good information and common sense we can get through this crisis. My goal is to focus on the facts. With social media and the Internet there is plenty of misinformation out there. Our community needs to go to trusted sources for the latest information.”
Tune in every afternoon (M-F) at 1:30 p.m. to hear a live-stream update
