Keith, the New Orleans Radical Faeries’ reigning Prince of Perversion (PoP), invites all to attend the 22nd PoP Ball to be held this year at 1333 Esplanade Avenue. The festivities will begin on Friday, August 29, at 7pm and will go till Midnight, with the Collaring/Sashing of the new Prince at 8:00pm-ish.
This year’s theme is “A Midsummer’s Night Wet Dream: A Bacchanalia”. Costumes are encouraged, fantasy, satyr horns, leather, faerie wings, toga or maybe just your laurel leaves.
There will be performances by Rebecca Rae, Randy MC, and the Dapper Dandies. Enjoy lush interiors of the Prince’s Palace, magical gardens outside, and the infamous Satyrs’ den.
A suggested donation of $20, at the door, is requested but no one shall be turned away for lack of funds. However, there’s an additional $15 charge to enjoy the open bar.
