* JAMMIN’ ON JULIA (& beyond!): Arts District of New Orleans; 300 – 700 blocks of Julia St.; 5 – 10 p.m. Arts District New Orleans (ADNO) is pleased to announce the return of Jammin’ on Julia, a Spring art walk + music festival hybrid event in the district. Jammin’ coincides with the First Saturday gallery openings on May 6th, from 5-10PM. In addition to the art walk, the district welcomes patrons to an evening block party featuring world class art exhibitions along Julia Street and the surrounding area, with musical performances in select galleries on Julia, Camp, and Magazine Streets, and food trucks & bars on the closed 300-600 blocks of Julia. The event is free and open to the public and is a perfect opportunity to stroll through the historic Arts District and discover New Orleans’ contemporary art, music, and cuisine.
