Baton Rouge Pride Fest Returns with a Vibrant Celebration of Diversity and Inclusion

June 19, 2024 By Community Contributor

Baton Rouge, LA – May 22, 2024—Get ready to embrace the vibrant spirit of inclusivity, love, and celebration at the Baton Rouge Pride Fest, presented by AHF and Unique Physique, on June 29, 2024, at the Raising Cane’s River Center. From 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., attendees can look forward to a day loaded with entertainment, education, and empowerment for all.

The festival’s star attractions feature dazzling performances by internationally renowned artists: Three-time Grammy nominee Taylor Dayne, RuPaul’s Drag Race stars A’Keria Davenport and Rosé. Their dynamic presence will undoubtedly elevate the festivities, capturing the essence of unity and pride. Additionally, guests will enjoy beautiful performances from the Baton Rouge Symphony and powerful operatic pieces by Opera Louisiane. Local drag queens will also grace the stage, showcasing their incredible talent and adding a unique local flair to the celebration.

Beyond the headline acts, Baton Rouge Pride Fest will host a Resource Fair highlighting local businesses committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community. The vibrant Queerative Market will offer a space for local queer artists to display their talents in a Pop-Up Southern Queer Arts Market.

“Pride Fest is not just a celebration, but a testament to the strength and unity of our community,” says Pride Fest Director Bobbi Wisekal. “We are thrilled to bring together such an amazing lineup of performers and activities embodying the spirit of inclusion and support.
