Demon, the New Orleans Radical Faeries reigning Prince of Perversion, invites all to the annual PoP Ball to be held this year at 708 Touro Street in the Marigny Triangle (go thru the gate & down the alley). The festivities will begin on Friday, August 30, at 7pm and go till Midnight, with the Collaring/Sashing of the new Prince at 7:45pm-ish.
Referencing the upcoming presidential election, this year’s theme is “No Fake Erections” and the colors are “Red, White & Blue, but especially Blue”. Costumes are encouraged.
There will be performances by Debbie With a D, Aqua Mob Water Ballet, Quijote Duo, Ian Hoch & Alex Martinez Wallace, and special surprise guests followed by 80’s Alternative Dance music.
A suggested donation of $20, at the door, is requested but no one shall be turned away for lack of funds. However, there’s an additional $15 charge to enjoy the open bar.
Swimming pool is “bathing suit optional” but please bring your own towel.
